FITLET3 outperforms former Atom-based platforms in almost every aspect: CPU performance is up to x1.7 better, graphics performance is up to x2 better, and storage performance is up to x7 better.
Our FITLET3 is pre-configured with the extention below:
- Terminal block w/ RS-232, RS-485, GPIOs.
- TPM | On-board Trusted Platform Module assembled on SBC.
- On-board Intel AX210 WiFi/BT, including antennas and panel.
The custom-made FITLET3 motherboard was designed to fully utilize the capabilities of Intel’s most advanced Atom platform, allowing up to 32GB, 3200MT/s DDR4 memory, and a comprehensive set of communication and industrial interfaces.
Additional interfaces are optional using one of the 3rd generation FACET extension cards:
- FC3-LAN: Two more 1Gb Ethernet ports to a total of four ports on RJ45 connectors
- FC3-OPLN: 1GbE over SFP+ for optical LAN
- FC3-POED: a single 1Gb PoE Ethernet port that can power the fitlet3

STEP 1: Choose a processor
The FITLET3 is available in 3 different CPUs, 2 core or 4 core. Please contact our team if you need help choosing the CPU.
Intel Atom® x6425E Processor (4 Core)
The Intel Atom x6425E has 4 cores with 4 threads and is based on the 6. gen of the Intel Atom series. The processor uses a mainboard with the BGA 1493 socket and was released in Q1/2021.
Intel® Celeron® Processor J6412 (4 Core)
The Intel Celeron J6412 has 4 cores with 4 threads and is based on the 11. gen of the Intel Celeron series. The processor uses a mainboard with the BGA 1493 socket and was released in Q1/2021.
Intel Atom® x6211E Processor (4 Core)
The Intel Atom x6211E has 2 cores with 2 threads and is based on the 6. gen of the Intel Atom series. The processor uses a mainboard with the BGA 1493 socket and was released in Q1/2021.
STEP 2: Pick memory and storage
The FITLET3 supports up to 32GB Memory.
Storage: NVMe M.2 + SATA M.2 or 2.5” SSD/HDD (up to 2 devices)
NVME M.2 SSD: Recommended as a first storage device.
M.2 SATA Storage: Recommended as a secondary storage device

STEP 4: Add extra function/ports
Extra requirements are implemented with an extension module integrated seamlessly into the housing. This module is called FACET-Card (Function And Connectivity Extension T-Card). This way its possible to add extra RJ-45 ports, Wifi extentions, and 4G/5G functionality.

STEP 6: Dertermine the temperature
FITLET3 is the first miniature PC by Compulab able to operate at the full industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The standard temprature range is 0°C to 50°C.
